The Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering was launched in 2008.
A write up in The Star commented on the popularity of the program, however there was no students statistics was included. " that the sight of blue and white uniform has become a common sight... at the campus".
The reasons for its popularity are:
a. the syllabus prepares the students for the EASA B1.1 and B2 examination.
b. The University is equipped with hanger and two aircraft to be used for students training.
c. The 2.5 year program include OJT, on job training with the industry partners.
d. On completion of the Diploma, students may do advanced diploma and awarded a Degree by Kingston University UK.
