The Malaysian Aviation Academy (MAvA) has made up his mind to become the region's premier academy for this region within the next few years. With this, the academy will be attracting people from Europe and Latin America.
The plan was announced by Malaysian Transport Minister, Mr Liow Tiong Lai. According to him, the target is within reach as MAvA is currently an associate member of ICAO prestigious Trainair Plus Program (TPP). It is the natural progression to become a full TPP member.
The plan for the TPP is in line of the country's need to develop an highly skilled human capital. When the new KL air traffic control center planned to be commissioned on 2018, it will be one of the most advanced system of its kind.
