The education in Technical and Vocation is important in our effort to reduce poverty. This was quoted in the UNESCO web page. However Malaysia is facing an acute problem in attracting students to study in the field technical and science. Unless the cause of the problem is corrected, the future of the nation toprogress is in doubt

To ensure quality and excellence in teaching and learning, Value-Based HTVET Educational Model was developed, which emphasises four important components:
1) Innovative Teaching and Learning,
2) Quality Curriculum,
3) Academic Professionalism, and
4) Student Talent Enhancement.
In this model, the 4 important components above are supported by shared values of Commitment, Integrity, Teamwork, Innovativeness and Excellence which guide the culture and practices of academic staff and students.
The Value-Based HTVET Educational Model also supports the 5 Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) and UniKL Educational Goal which is in line with the University's Vision and Mission.
