Nilai Colege is a private University situated in Nilai, A small town about 50 km from Kuala Lumpur. It is about 10km from Putra Jaya, the administration center of the Malaysian Government.
Current the University is offering course in Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance. The courses is using the EASA syllabus, thus preparing the students to take B1 license examination.
What I like is the structural approach to the Programme.
This is how I see it....
1. The Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Program -- Covering the EASA/ DACM syllabus. so the students may sit for the License Modules.
2. Add additional 1 year - the students entitle to earn a Degree.
OR
3. Add the few years of experience in aircraft - enable the students to apply for the license.
It will be nicer if the diploma courses/ subjects are arranged in modular form to meet the requirements for the authority.
It is possible to arranged a few subjects in modular form, and run the concurrently. For example, Maths and Physics, may be together for a total of 4 weeks.
The hours = 4 weeks x 5 days x 6 hours = 120 hours
