APR New Intake

APR is one of the five DCA approved training school in Malaysia, and it one of the most successful in term of getting the results. Not that the others cannot do it, but the others have the limitations. For example the MAS training is focusing on its own internal staff. Dilog is set to train more of the FELDA students. MIAT is having the University status to look after.

 
As advertised on 8 Mar 2015 in the Star.

1. It is four year program for B1.1, B1.3 or B2. The training consists of classroom, workshop and On Job Training on operating aircraft.

2. Open for Malaysian and Foreigners 18 - 25 years old.

3. Physically and mentally fit and not color blind.

4. Has SPM, diploma or digree

Prospect of MRO

With the LIMA 2015 in the background, Malaysia can benefit from the opportunities in the MRO.

- Expected total MRO business to be US1.9 trillion for the next decade.
- The total aircraft is 13,000
- The business is about 36% of the global MRO
- Investment in Malaysia - 41 projects with RM5.3bil

- Trained manpower from ACTC at UniKL Miat.

 Expected Malaysia revenue from aerospace industry is RM 32.5 bil with 32,000 high income jobs.

To manage the aerospace industry, the government had set up the National Aerospace Coordinating Committee.
